What I've been up to

I've discovered quite a bit about myself the past week. Recently I haven't been wanting to go out with anyone or have lunch with my friends, I just want to sit at home and be absorbed with my movies and music. It's been overwhelming lately, I went out for a movie with a group of friends on Saturday and on Monday I was with my teammates helping out at prom. So yes, I do need a break from anything social and I want to be alone with my thoughts-- my strange thoughts.

Besides the discovery of me preferring to be alone, I've also kind of realised what I want to be when I'm older, which is kind of a relief, even though I'm not too sure about it. Hey, small things help too you know?

Speaking of small things, aren't they always the ones that give pleasure to your life? The simple things give me so much happiness (masturbation, lol). Things like reading, keeping up with my TV series, music, all the small things. Who needs something big and grand anyway? =P

On a related note, I remember Winette talking about giving her friends big gifts because it'll be weird if she gives small gifts. No offence, okay yes, I hope you get offended (haha), but that's really stupid. I don't get it, why would someone be angry at you for not giving them a cake decorated with diamonds for their birthday? If you give them a handwritten letter or something small and it has the heart and/or thought to it, how could it even be compared?
