Parker, The Ideal Lover

The gawky, dorky, plain boy.
Taken advantage of, like a toy.
With unkempt puffy hair,
Longing for a love affair.

Back at home, isolated from the world,
He removes his contacts.
Oh, such beautiful hair,
How it matches his frames, oh so square.

The boy who speaks little,
Misunderstood, thought of as brittle.
His heart says otherwise,
As he loves with such passion.

Kept in the shadows,
Ignored by them all along.
I am searching for you,
And I have been searching, hard and long.

We are so compatible,
Different from the rest,
What may not appeal to others,
Appeals to the person who loves your true colours.

Your quirks, hobbies and idiosyncrasies,
You may see them as deficiencies,
But not to me,
I hope you can see.

Your gawky, dorky ways intrigue me,
In ways I can't explain.
I love the way you do your hair,
Let's have a love affair.
