Asian Households and Western Households

I've been to many of my friends' houses and the moment I step into their homes, I feel like I'm in school again because of how strict it is in their homes. Don't you feel that way too?

In some Chinese houses, the Chinese tradition is very strong and for everything the family does, and I mean EVERYTHING, the parents will always have to be first. I'm fine with that to a certain extent, but do they always have to be first even for the smallest things? Example: taking a photo.

Westernised households are the most fun to be in because you feel at home, everything is laid back, calm and you can joke around.

In Singapore, I think Malays and Indians have pretty laid back households. I've been to my friend's house (he's Chinese and Malay) and it was fun! Yeah, Yasir, I'm talking about you. I've also been to a few Indian households and it's pretty much the same. These households are noisier than Chinese ones. I also wonder why Chinese homes have to be so quiet.

Then, there's the exception. WINETTE'S home is laid back as well, it's most probably due to the fact that they speak English in their home most of the time. <3 Westernised homes.

And then there's my home. My home is a ZOO. Animals running around, things thrown everywhere, people blasting music from all directions. Yup. Also, there's always a person awake at any time of the day.
