To each their own

I was on a learning journey two weeks ago and towards the end of it, my friend and I were talking to this girl who is a Christian. She kept telling us stories of how her church is able to convert ANYONE to Christianity, including her uncle who has been a Taoist for his entire 70/80 years of his life.

She continues telling us stories about miraculous conversions and stories about god to us. I look at her and say, "What if god isn't true? What do you think about atheists then?" and she replies, "He IS true and I would strongly advice those people to become Christians. We Christians will go to heaven when we die."

Oh, is that so? What if someone who is a Christian murdered people throughout his entire life?

"Yes, because god will forgive you.".

So I got tired of discussing about religion and just walked away. She has told a lot of people in my class that Christianity is a good religion and that they should convert.

Well, I don't really care what religion you believe in and I won't judge you, but don't force your religion down my throat. My mom keeps telling me to pray to my god (I'm Jewish) and honestly, I don't feel the need to. I'm not even that religious, I'm like a Jewish Atheist like Geddy Lee. Though sometimes, it's just nice to believe that someone is watching over you in life threatening situations when you're like "God, please save me." or something similar to that. But praying to god, would I do that? This blog post probably makes no sense to whoever is reading this now, but it's just hard to explain..

I bet the only people reading this are the Malay blogwalkers (love y'all spam bots <3) and people that I've forced to view my blog (same old, same old).

SO, THE MORAL OF THIS POST IS..

To each their own, but don't shove your religion down other people's throats.

But let's just make this clear, I believe in the Queen god, the Video Game god, and the Science god. Yes that was lame a joke. =/
