My brother is a newly wed

My brother Aaron got married today. The wedding was a low key one and only 25 people were invited, and it was nice. Big weddings are a waste of money anyway.

The solemnizer pronounced Aaron's and his wife Nadya's full names wrongly, even after they corrected him. We, the guests, were seated behind the married-couple-to-be and we were giggling silently, especially Nadya's gal friends, obvious from their curled long hair moving up and down to the rhythm of their controlled laughter. Aaron's friends were snickering too, it was funny.

Then when the solemnizer pronounced Nadya's name wrongly again, she couldn't help but burst out laughing, the whole room roaring with laughter from the guests. They then proceeded to say their vows to each other. Keren teared up a bit when they were pronounced husband and wife, haha. It was a happy occasion.

I was hanging out with Aaron last night, talking about the wedding. We were up till 2am and he told me that he was nervous, to which I replied, "Why? It's just a title, not like there's going to be any difference in your life anyway."

"Yeah, but it means we're legally bound to each other. I've only known her for 7 months."

The dark room was filled with silence and thoughts(probably only on my side, but I have a feeling he was thinking too), and we fell asleep.

Whatever, the wedding cake was cute though. It was red and black and the cake topper of a bride dragging her broom was cheeky. :)
